Brick and Stone Creations
About us
Brick and Stone Creations are a proudly owned and operated family business in Western Australia.
We provide an exceptional construction service in all aspects of masonry in both the commercial and residential sectors.
With a career spanning over 29 years in the construction industry in both England and Australia, our business owner, Nick Walton, has gained a wealth of experience. Nick moved to Western Australia in 2003 and formed his own company, Brick and Stone Creations in 2009. Since then, Nick has worked alongside a host of Perth's best residential builders and commercial landscape construction companies, leading our team through the process of building multi-storey residential housing, hard and soft landscape construction, stone feature walls, outdoor kitchens, fireplaces and firepits.
We specialise in using locally sourced Western Australian stone to create unique, custom built projects using traditional stonemasonry methods to suit our client's requirements.
We pride ourselves on achieving great results by working with the client to overcome any project challenges and producing work to the highest standard.
By appointment, we also provide a consultation service to Developers, Architects, Builders and Homeowners at the design stage to establish the most suitable stone materials to fit each individual project's requirements and advise on the best installation method to ensure a smooth process from start to finish.

Projects Portfolio
Korean War Memorial - Kings Park and Botanic Gardens
We had the honour of undertaking the stonemasonry works on the Korean War Memorial for Landscape Australia Construction.
Our scope of works included the installation of the granite wall capping and the installation of the four types of Western Australian granite paving.
With Kings Park being a Class A reserve we are proud that our environmental impact plan passed the strict requirements to undertake the work in that location. Using vacuum systems on our saw and grinders and a portable filtration system for the slurry washouts from the cement mixer we eliminated any harmful slurry or dust from entering the surrounding area.
The WA granite paving install consisted of both segmental and crazy paving. The segmental paving provides the outer edge while the crazy paving provides the inner section. The design of the paving is in the shape of the Mugunghwa, or Rose of Sharon, which is the Korean national flower and has been an important symbol in Korean culture for centuries.
The project was unveiled on the 27th July 2023 on the 70th Annivesary of the Armistice by the Premier of Western Australia the Hon. Roger Cook and H.E. Mr Kim Wan-Joong, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Australia. The event was attended by over 500 veterans and their families, Korean dignitaries and VIPs, and members of the Korean community and was a very humbling experience to be a part of and see how much it means to them all.
Outdoor fireplace Construction
This outdoor fireplace was built at the stunning Hamptons Farm Estate for Indah Island. The construction incorporated the Hudson brick from the New York range at Midland Brick with a contrasting white mortar.
We are proud to have been involved on such an amazing project that has been showcased in many magazines and featured on the TV shows Ready Set Reno, Open Homes Australia and Australia's Best House.
The Hamptons Farm Estate is available for hire as a luxury wedding venue and to host corporate events so this fireplace will hopefully provide a great backdrop for many people's special day for years to come.
Outdoor kitchen construction
This was a project we built in Secret Harbour for our fantastic clients Ryan and Serina .
We worked closely with them through the design and material choices process to be sure that it would enhance their already beautiful alfresco area. The base was built using Western Australian natural tamala limestone blocks and cladding. For the bench top we mixed our own concrete mix onsite with 20mm limestone rubble included and then honed back and sealed for a smooth finished surface that complimented the stone nicely.
It was then completed with the construction and rendering of this pizza oven and the client supplied barbecue.
Moss Rock (granite) Bbq base installation
This granite barbeque base installation was undertaken for Pinnacle Builders on Phase Three Landscaping's Boddington foreshore project.
It was built as part of a large undertaking of granite stone construction by us on the project which consisted of two barbeque bases and four seating walls.
The no visible mortar specification gives these works that great dry stone look. All the rocks were split, cut and shaped by hand on site to achieve this finish.

" Nick is an artist.
Nick made our dream come true. He transformed our messy front yard into a masterpiece. It was a pleasure to watch him working so passionately towards perfection.
He made our retaining wall and a large area of paving around the front part of the house.
Nothing was difficult for Nick, nothing impossible. Our front yard is so unique.
Everyone is stopping by and praising his work.
His work ethic is fantastic. Nick is the most honest tradesman we have ever dealt with. He cared about every single detail above our expectations.
We would recommend him to anyone who cares about the aesthetics and wants the best outcome for their money.
We are very fussy home owners and if we were happy, everyone else will be!"
